Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

We are looking for a dispatcher and customer service representative to join our team. Prior work in logistics or dispatching is highly desired. We are an established reputable messenger/courier/logistics company for over 30 yrs along the front range. The Call/Dispatch center is located in Boulder County. Hours are 9am-4pm M-F

 

Responsibilities and DutiesCommunication with couriers, customer service reps, and customers is vital throughout the day.

  • Assisting with incoming customer calls
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs
  • Speak with drivers and other CSR’s to coordinate deliveries.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Processing web orders

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CSR systems and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
