COVID-19 Protocols

April 3, 2020

Dear DBC Customer,

We hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.

As an essential business, DBC continues to operate along the front range in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We’ve instituted protocols and procedures to minimize exposure to our workers and our customers.  Please note that we welcome any and all suggestions to minimize the risks associated with getting your delivery completed. If you see something we can do better please tell us.  Safety comes first!

Courier Protocol

All couriers are equipped with sanitizing solution for frequent disinfection of their vehicle. Vehicles are disinfected prior to the start of their route; at each stop (before and after pick-up); before and after eating or using the restroom; and at the end of their route, before returning the vehicle. Vehicle disinfecting has always and will continue to be a daily safety practice.

  • Couriers wear disposable gloves for each delivery.
  • Couriers are supplied with masks to wear at each delivery.
  • Couriers are supplied with a hand disinfectant to be able to sanitize even if they do not have access to soap and water.

Protocol When Picking Up and Dropping Off: Let’s do this as “hands free” as possible!

All couriers are instructed to decrease interactions and avoid physical contact. We practice safe distancing in all circumstances.  Plan on not having our courier come into the building UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.  Please supply phone numbers and contact names for the pick-up and drop-off.  Drivers will not be getting wet signatures until it’s safe again. Couriers will capture the name of the recipient in their phone.  These names will be viewable online.

We ask that all deliveries are left at the door and that you maintain a safe distance of 10 feet from the courier at pick-up/drop off.  We’ll call you 15 minutes from arrival at pick up and the same at the drop-off.

Most importantly, our staff is asked to stay home and seek medical attention if they have any symptoms or are ill in any way.

We will continually communicate with our staff and drivers regarding updates to procedures and prevention methods to best keep our employees and customers healthy.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
